《旧约 - 申命记(Deuteronomy)》第18章

中文: 祭司利未人和利未全支派必在以色列中无分无业。他们所吃用的就是献给耶和华的火祭和一切所捐的。
英文: The priests the Levites, and all the tribe of Levi, shall have no part nor inheritance with Israel: they shall eat the offerings of the LORD made by fire, and his inheritance.

中文: 他们在弟兄中必没有产业。耶和华是他们的产业,正如耶和华所应许他们的。
英文: Therefore shall they have no inheritance among their brethren: the LORD is their inheritance, as he hath said unto them.

中文: 祭司从百姓所当得的分乃是这样,凡献牛或羊为祭的,要把前腿和两腮并脾胃给祭司。
英文: And this shall be the priest's due from the people, from them that offer a sacrifice, whether it be ox or sheep; and they shall give unto the priest the shoulder, and the two cheeks, and the maw.

中文: 初收的五谷,新酒和油,并初剪的羊毛,也要给他。
英文: The firstfruit also of thy corn, of thy wine, and of thine oil, and the first of the fleece of thy sheep, shalt thou give him.

中文: 因为耶和华你的神从你各支派中将他拣选出来,使他和他子孙永远奉耶和华的名侍立,事奉。
英文: For the LORD thy God hath chosen him out of all thy tribes, to stand to minister in the name of the LORD, him and his sons for ever.

中文: 利未人无论寄居在以色列中的哪一座城,若从那里出来,一心愿意到耶和华所选择的地方,
英文: And if a Levite come from any of thy gates out of all Israel, where he sojourned, and come with all the desire of his mind unto the place which the LORD shall choose;

中文: 就要奉耶和华他神的名事奉,像他众弟兄利未人侍立在耶和华面前事奉一样。
英文: Then he shall minister in the name of the LORD his God, as all his brethren the Levites do, which stand there before the LORD.

中文: 除了他卖祖父产业所得的以外,还要得一分祭物与他们同吃。
英文: They shall have like portions to eat, beside that which cometh of the sale of his patrimony.

中文: 你到了耶和华你神所赐之地,那些国民所行可憎恶的事,你不可学着行。
英文: When thou art come into the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee, thou shalt not learn to do after the abominations of those nations.

中文: 你们中间不可有人使儿女经火,也不可有占卜的,观兆的,用法术的,行邪术的,
英文: There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch.
第11段
中文: 用迷术的,交鬼的,行巫术的,过阴的。
英文: Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer.
第12段
中文: 凡行这些事的都为耶和华所憎恶。因那些国民行这可憎恶的事,所以耶和华你的神将他们从你面前赶出。
英文: For all that do these things are an abomination unto the LORD: and because of these abominations the LORD thy God doth drive them out from before thee.
第13段
中文: 你要在耶和华你的神面前作完全人。
英文: Thou shalt be perfect with the LORD thy God.
第14段
中文: 因你所要赶出的那些国民都听信观兆的和占卜的,至于你,耶和华你的神从来不许你这样行。
英文: For these nations, which thou shalt possess, hearkened unto observers of times, and unto diviners: but as for thee, the LORD thy God hath not suffered thee so to do.
第15段
中文: 耶和华你的神要从你们弟兄中间给你兴起一位先知,像我,你们要听从他。
英文: The LORD thy God will raise up unto thee a Prophet from the midst of thee, of thy brethren, like unto me; unto him ye shall hearken;
第16段
中文: 正如你在何烈山大会的日子求耶和华你神一切的话,说,求你不再叫我听见耶和华我神的声音,也不再叫我看见这大火,免得我死亡。
英文: According to all that thou desiredst of the LORD thy God in Horeb in the day of the assembly, saying, Let me not hear again the voice of the LORD my God, neither let me see this great fire any more, that I die not.

中文: 耶和华就对我说,他们所说的是。
英文: And the LORD said unto me, They have well spoken that which they have spoken.
第18段
中文: 我必在他们弟兄中间给他们兴起一位先知,像你。我要将当说的话传给他。他要将我一切所吩咐的都传给他们。
英文: I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee, and will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him.
第19段
中文: 谁不听他奉我名所说的话,我必讨谁的罪。
英文: And it shall come to pass, that whosoever will not hearken unto my words which he shall speak in my name, I will require it of him.
第20段
中文: 若有先知擅敢托我的名说我所未曾吩咐他说的话,或是奉别神的名说话,那先知就必治死。
英文: But the prophet, which shall presume to speak a word in my name, which I have not commanded him to speak, or that shall speak in the name of other gods, even that prophet shall die.
第21段
中文: 你心里若说,耶和华所未曾吩咐的话,我们怎能知道呢,
英文: And if thou say in thine heart, How shall we know the word which the LORD hath not spoken?
第22段
中文: 先知托耶和华的名说话,所说的若不成就,也无效验,这就是耶和华所未曾吩咐的,是那先知擅自说的,你不要怕他。
英文: When a prophet speaketh in the name of the LORD, if the thing follow not, nor come to pass, that is the thing which the LORD hath not spoken, but the prophet hath spoken it presumptuously: thou shalt not be afraid of him.
