| 英文： | We have heard with our ears, O God, our fathers have told us, what work thou didst in their days, in the times of old. |

| 中文： | 你曾用手赶出外邦人，却栽培了我们列祖。你苦待列邦，却叫我们列祖发达。 |
| 英文： | How thou didst drive out the heathen with thy hand, and plantedst them; how thou didst afflict the people, and cast them out. |

| 中文： | 因为他们不是靠自己的刀剑得土地，也不是靠自己的膀臂得胜。乃是靠你的右手，你的膀臂，和你脸上的亮光，因为你喜悦他们。 |
| 英文： | For they got not the land in possession by their own sword, neither did their own arm save them: but thy right hand, and thine arm, and the light of thy countenance, because thou hadst a favour unto them. |

| 中文： | 我们靠你要推倒我们的敌人。靠你的名要践踏那起来攻击我们的人。 |
| 英文： | Through thee will we push down our enemies: through thy name will we tread them under that rise up against us. |

| 中文： | 因为我必不靠我的弓，我的刀也不能使我得胜。 |
| 英文： | For I will not trust in my bow, neither shall my sword save me. |

| 中文： | 惟你救了我们脱离敌人，使恨我们的人羞愧。 |
| 英文： | But thou hast saved us from our enemies, and hast put them to shame that hated us. |

| 中文： | 我们终日因神夸耀，还要永远称谢你的名。（细拉） |
| 英文： | In God we boast all the day long, and praise thy name for ever. Selah. |

| 中文： | 但如今你丢弃了我们，使我们受辱，不和我们的军兵同去。 |
| 英文： | But thou hast cast off, and put us to shame; and goest not forth with our armies. |

| 中文： | 你使我们向敌人转身退后。那恨我们的人任意抢夺。 |
| 英文： | Thou makest us to turn back from the enemy: and they which hate us spoil for themselves. |

| 中文： | 你使我们当作快要被吃的羊，把我们分散在列邦中。 |
| 英文： | Thou hast given us like sheep appointed for meat; and hast scattered us among the heathen. |

| 中文： | 你卖了你的子民，也不赚利。所得的价值，并不加添你的资财。 |
| 英文： | Thou sellest thy people for nought, and dost not increase thy wealth by their price. |

| 中文： | 你使我们受邻国的羞辱，被四围的人嗤笑讥刺。 |
| 英文： | Thou makest us a reproach to our neighbours, a scorn and a derision to them that are round about us. |

| 中文： | 你使我们在列邦中作了笑谈，使众民向我们摇头。 |
| 英文： | Thou makest us a byword among the heathen, a shaking of the head among the people. |

| 中文： | 我的凌辱，终日在我面前。我脸上的羞愧，将我遮蔽。 |
| 英文： | My confusion is continually before me, and the shame of my face hath covered me, |

| 中文： | 都因那辱骂毁谤人的声音，又因仇敌和报仇人的缘故。 |
| 英文： | For the voice of him that reproacheth and blasphemeth; by reason of the enemy and avenger. |

| 中文： | 这都临到我们身上。我们却没有忘记你。也没有违背你的约。 |
| 英文： | All this is come upon us; yet have we not forgotten thee, neither have we dealt falsely in thy covenant. |

| 中文： | 我们的心没有退后，我们的脚也没有偏离你的路。 |
| 英文： | Our heart is not turned back, neither have our steps declined from thy way; |

| 中文： | 你在野狗之处压伤我们，用死荫遮蔽我们。 |
| 英文： | Though thou hast sore broken us in the place of dragons, and covered us with the shadow of death. |

| 中文： | 倘若我们忘了神的名，或向别神举手， |
| 英文： | If we have forgotten the name of our God, or stretched out our hands to a strange god; |
| 第21段 | |
| 中文： | 神岂不鉴察这事吗。因为他晓得人心里的隐秘。 |
| 英文： | Shall not God search this out? for he knoweth the secrets of the heart. |

| 中文： | 我们为你的缘故终日被杀，人看我们如将宰的羊。 |
| 英文： | Yea, for thy sake are we killed all the day long; we are counted as sheep for the slaughter. |

| 中文： | 主阿，求你睡醒，为何尽睡呢。求你兴起，不要永远丢弃我们。 |
| 英文： | Awake, why sleepest thou, O Lord? arise, cast us not off for ever. |

| 中文： | 你为何掩面，不顾我们所遭的苦难，和所受的欺压。 |
| 英文： | Wherefore hidest thou thy face, and forgettest our affliction and our oppression? |

| 中文： | 我们的性命伏于尘土。我们的肚腹紧贴地面。 |
| 英文： | For our soul is bowed down to the dust: our belly cleaveth unto the earth. |

| 中文： | 求你起来帮助我们，凭你的慈爱救赎我们。 |
| 英文： | Arise for our help, and redeem us for thy mercies' sake. |
