| 中文： | 人若想与你说话，你就厌烦吗。但谁能忍住不说呢。 |
| 英文： | If we assay to commune with thee, wilt thou be grieved? but who can withhold himself from speaking? |

| 中文： | 你素来教导许多的人，又坚固软弱的手。 |
| 英文： | Behold, thou hast instructed many, and thou hast strengthened the weak hands. |

| 中文： | 你的言语曾扶助那将要跌倒的人。你又使软弱的膝稳固。 |
| 英文： | Thy words have upholden him that was falling, and thou hast strengthened the feeble knees. |
| 第5段 | |
| 中文： | 但现在祸患临到你，你就昏迷，挨近你，你便惊惶。 |
| 英文： | But now it is come upon thee, and thou faintest; it toucheth thee, and thou art troubled. |

| 中文： | 你的倚靠不是在你敬畏神吗。你的盼望不是在你行事纯正吗。 |
| 英文： | Is not this thy fear, thy confidence, thy hope, and the uprightness of thy ways? |

| 中文： | 请你追想，无辜的人有谁灭亡。正直的人在何处剪除。 |
| 英文： | Remember, I pray thee, who ever perished, being innocent? or where were the righteous cut off? |

| 中文： | 按我所见，耕罪孽，种毒害的人，都照样收割。 |
| 英文： | Even as I have seen, they that plow iniquity, and sow wickedness, reap the same. |

| 中文： | 神一出气，他们就灭亡。神一发怒，他们就消没。 |
| 英文： | By the blast of God they perish, and by the breath of his nostrils are they consumed. |

| 中文： | 狮子的吼叫，和猛狮的声音，尽都止息。少壮狮子的牙齿，也都敲掉。 |
| 英文： | The roaring of the lion, and the voice of the fierce lion, and the teeth of the young lions, are broken. |

| 中文： | 老狮子因绝食而死。母狮之子也都离散。 |
| 英文： | The old lion perisheth for lack of prey, and the stout lion's whelps are scattered abroad. |

| 中文： | 我暗暗地得了默示。我耳朵也听其细微的声音。 |
| 英文： | Now a thing was secretly brought to me, and mine ear received a little thereof. |

| 中文： | 在思念夜中，异象之间，世人沉睡的时候。 |
| 英文： | In thoughts from the visions of the night, when deep sleep falleth on men, |

| 中文： | 恐惧，战兢临到我身，使我百骨打战。 |
| 英文： | Fear came upon me, and trembling, which made all my bones to shake. |

| 中文： | 有灵从我面前经过，我身上的毫毛直立。 |
| 英文： | Then a spirit passed before my face; the hair of my flesh stood up: |

| 中文： | 那灵停住，我却不能辨其形状。有影像在我眼前。我在静默中听见有声音说， |
| 英文： | It stood still, but I could not discern the form thereof: an image was before mine eyes, there was silence, and I heard a voice, saying, |

| 中文： | 必死的人岂能比神公义吗。人岂能比造他的主洁净吗。 |
| 英文： | Shall mortal man be more just than God? shall a man be more pure than his maker? |

| 中文： | 主不信靠他的臣仆，并且指他的使者为愚昧。 |
| 英文： | Behold, he put no trust in his servants; and his angels he charged with folly: |

| 中文： | 何况那住在土房，根基在尘土里，被蠹虫所毁坏的人呢。 |
| 英文： | How much less in them that dwell in houses of clay, whose foundation is in the dust, which are crushed before the moth? |

| 中文： | 早晚之间，就被毁灭，永归无有，无人理会。 |
| 英文： | They are destroyed from morning to evening: they perish for ever without any regarding it. |

| 中文： | 他帐棚的绳索岂不从中抽出来呢。他死，且是无智慧而死。 |
| 英文： | Doth not their excellency which is in them go away? they die, even without wisdom. |
